About Me:
As a dedicated 400m athlete at Loughborough University, my journey in athletics began with the inspiration I drew from the London 2012 Olympics, watching the likes of Yohan Blake and Usain Bolt. My passion for athletics is fueled by the people I meet and the opportunities to travel and engage with diverse communities.
My favourite thing about athletics:
I cherish the camaraderie among athletes and the chance to travel, meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. These experiences have enriched my life and deepened my love for the sport.
Areas of interest:
I have a keen interest in selection disputes and policy amendments. These areas are crucial for ensuring fairness and transparency in the sport, and I am committed to advocating for improvements that benefit all athletes.
Areas of experience:
With a decade of experience in athletics, I have developed a strong understanding of the sport and the issues athletes face. My role as a committee member for Newton Abbot AC has provided me with insights into athlete perspectives on selection disputes and other key issues.
I am dedicated to championing athletes’ voices to drive the sport forward, benefiting both athletes and coaches. I am committed to addressing issues ranging from safeguarding to selection disputes, policy amendments, and operational improvements. My approach will always be guided by integrity and professionalism, ensuring that the athlete community is represented fairly and justly.
